Guests have access to Wi-Fi throughout the Sidhha Yoga Peeth from 9 AM – 9 PM. We observe silence from 9 PM until after breakfast. This ensures the maximum peace for spiritual practices and rests in the Siddha Yoga Peeth community.
Ashram Facility
Siddha Yoga Peeth is located in Tapovan – Rishikesh, a dynamic international village of spiritual seekers about 250 km north of Delhi. Tapovan means forest of the yogis and is considered the gateway to the Himalayas. The Ashram is on a headland above the banks of the Ganga (Ganges River) and is surrounded by mountains on three sides.
Yoga Halls
With two spacious Yoga halls, a rooftop, and an expansive marble ceremony terrace, We offer a unique, in-house YTT experience. The Yoga Hall on the third level has a wooden floor and a vaulted bamboo ceiling, creating an authentic and natural space for Yoga and YTT sessions.
Guest Rooms
YTTC participants stay in neat, shared double rooms with two single beds and bedding appropriate to each season. Guest rooms all have night tables and shelves as well as an adjoining bathroom with hot water, shower head, and a Western toilet. Most rooms also have a balcony or shared terrace.
Sitting Rooms
Sidhha Yoga Peeth has two Sitting Room for you to enjoy during your stay. The sitting rooms have sofas and armchairs and YTT participants often gather here to read or socialize during the free time until lights-out.
Tasty Vegetarian Meals
Siddha Yoga Peeth provides three freshly cooked Sattvic vegetarian meals a day complete with Gluten Free and Vegan options. The menu varies daily and includes organic foods sourced from the farm. Breakfast includes Ayurvedic herbal tea, homemade muesli, porridge, parantha or fruit samosas, and fruits. Lunch and Dinner often consist of Dal (beans), vegetables (pumpkin, carrot, cauliflower, peas, spinach), rice and chapatti.
Laundry Service
A laundry service comes to collect and deliver washing for Ashram guests daily. For a small fee per item, the laundry will wash, dry and press clothing with the exception of undergarments.
Dress Code
To respect the local culture, the Siddha Yoga Peeth has a dress code. Shoulders should be covered – no tank tops or singlets.
